Emerging Technology For All

Since 2015, GirlsComputingLeague has been a leader in bringing emerging technology to the students who will shape its future and shift the balance of diversity in the technology workplace. We aim to empower students in our programs to be leaders and changemakers in their communities through hands-on learning and instilling confidence and community.

AI Summit 2023

Educating the next generation of AI Technologists, Innovators, and Leaders.

The Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Summit works to educate the next generation of technologists, innovators, and leaders. From researchers to entrepreneurship trailblazers, this Summit is a unique opportunity to interact with the leaders in the fields of healthcare and computer science from companies and research institutions across the country through panels and workshops.

What We Do

Educate, Empower, Inspire, Change

AI Summit Series

As the first AI Conference for high school students, the AI Summit Series has worked to educate the next generation of technologists, innovators, and leaders for the past four years. We make AI accessible in an exciting project-based, expert-led environment

Chapters

We’re currently in several states across the US. Join or start a chapter to use GirlsComputingLeague’s experiences and resources to make a lasting impact on your local community.

1000 Schools Project

Spurred by the inequities in education exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis, our moonshot is to support 1000 low-income educational centers by the end of 2021 with technology-related resources such as computers, internet access, and a STEAM education.

GCL Scholars

In line with our mission for social justice and equity, we’re empowering leaders at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to teach emerging technology in their local communities. GCL will be pioneering a new discussion-based method of asking critical questions that will enable these future leaders to shape the future of technology.

Talking to the Next Generation of AI Technologists at the GCL AI Summit

It was exciting to get a chance to talk to the next generation of AI technologists at the GirlsComputingLeague AI Summit. Having a serious discussion with these students about ethical AI and how to use AI for good was extremely rewarding.

From Budget Cuts to a Funded Computer Science Program

This year, cuts forced us to eliminate the science and computer classes, but thanks to this generous grant from [GirlsComputingLeague], we will be able to continue inspiring students to explore hands-on science. The grant will allow us to create an after-school student robotics club.

GCL Brought Us the Resources We Needed

I wanted to again thank you for donation to Crestwood Elementary School to support our efforts to increase our students’ experiences in coding and robotics.  We have ordered the robots and are going to start a before school club after winter break.  I will also be using the robots in my instruction at all grade levels.  The students are really excited and can’t wait to start programming.
